So. I've finally finished finals. Well, actually I've been done for almost a full 24 hours!! Almost. Two back-to-back finals are not fun, but hopefully all that mad studying paid off. It sure felt it did... I was able to answer most all questions except for the really tricky ones that professors like to put on there just to check if you can think on your own. Or the CSE31 TA making us draw a timing schematic. Argh. *shakes fist*

But overall, yeah. I'm trying not to worry about my grades so much, as I just want to relax. Definitely been a lot of tension and stress and all the negative vibes and stuff. I feel like I'm back on AcaDec with the impromptu speech ... "and...and...and..."

Anyway. I went to dim sum with Anthony finally. Haha. That was some good dim sum. And I finally got to hear him talk vietnamese! Of course, I couldn't make out half of what he was saying. Ahh, he makes me envious. I wish I could speak Thai again. Hrm. I also had a second taste of vietnamese coffee.. that stuff is strong. I think I'll stick to chugging tea...the caffeine doesn't get to me as much. Or maybe it's the sugar in coffee.. anyway.

I finally got to play Soul Calibur III (thanks Anthony) and I didn't do too bad. I did a lot of sampling of the characters and they definitely feel more fluid. Viscous? Like moving in oil as opposed to water. I think fighting games are getting less "speedy" and more "smooth". Hard to explain, but I don't think I really like the direction they are going. Nonetheless, it's still a pretty good game. I want to make my own character just because that would be cool. I played a random-made character and his weapon was a small stick that extended and grew, or became a hammer. Awesome.

I'm wondering if I should wait a few months before I get a new console. I was thinking the PS3, especially if it has backwards compatability...then I can play SCIII and SCII. But I was thinking about waiting because people have said the 360 wasn't very impressive. I'm not surprised. My computer is probably a ton better than that.

So yeah. Break. Tomorrow I'm going to Anthony's party, hopefully. If my ride doesn't suddenly change plans. :\ I'm afraid that's going to happen. And I still need to give him back his vacuum cleaner. Hm.

I suppose I shall see everyone next year..?
